Βιογραφικό

Zoi Kalaitzi is a Radiation Oncologist and a scientific associate of the Athens Medical Group since 2007. She completed her Radiation Oncology specialty training in 2007 at the ‘Metaxa’ Cancer Hospital of Piraeus having also rotated at the department of Radiation Oncology at the Sana Klinikum Offenbach in Germany focusing on modern techniques of radiotherapy and interstitial brachytherapy. In 2014, she obtained the title of Educator for the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). The last 6 years she has also been a member of faculty for the Master’s programme titled ‘Lung cancer – current clinical and laboratory approach’ organised by the Oncology unit of the 3rd Internal Medicine department of University of Athens. In 2019, she was a member of faculty for the European Respiratory Society Skills Course: ‘Multidisciplinary care in Thoracic Oncology’. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in numerous conferences as an invited speaker or panel member. She has been a co-investigator in international multi-centre phase III studies (e.g., PROCLAIM, CheckMate73L). She has authored/co-authored 4 chapters in Chest Oncology books and she is currently a member of various scientific committees.
